Welcome to Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic (PKS CWE)
We are the first oil palm polytechnic in Indonesia. Established in 2006 under the Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic Foundation, the polytechnic aims to produce outstanding graduates to support the continued growth of Indonesia’s national oil palm industry, which has developed significantly over the past decade. With this objective, we are strongly committed to educating the nation’s young generation to become excellent human resources: competent oil palm specialists and qualified professionals in their respective fields.
To achieve this goal, Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic places strong emphasis on enhancing students’ knowledge and skills. Its strong commitment to producing high-quality graduates has led CWE Polytechnic to implement a comprehensive learning approach.
The teaching concept is developed within the framework of link and match with the national oil palm industry. In terms of curriculum, it is based on theoretical knowledge and direct practical experience within companies. In terms of teaching staff, the lecturers include not only academics but also professionals with extensive experience in developing the national oil palm industry. All teaching and learning activities take place within representative campus facilities.

The link and match concept is developed not only in the curriculum context but also through partnerships with Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic through scholarship programs for students. A number of oil palm companies have the opportunity to provide scholarships to students of Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic.
Theoretical and Applied Approach
Through theoretical and applied approaches, together with close engagement with the oil palm industry, graduates of Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic can be said to be fully absorbed by the industry. Many of them have even signed employment contracts with recruiting companies before graduating.
