CWE Polytechnic Open House : Seminar and Training on Gen Z Opportunities and Contributions in Developing MSME Digitalization in the 5.0 Era
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic held a GOES TO CAMPUS activity with the theme “Gen Z Opportunities and Contributions in Developing MSME Digitalization in the 5.0 Era”. The main activities of this event were a Seminar and Training Short Course designed to support the theme and strengthen Gen Z potential and expertise in competing in the present and the future. Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic invited schools located around Bekasi Regency, and the activity was successfully attended by more than 20 schools across Bekasi Regency.
This event is held annually on the Citra Widya Edukasi Oil Palm Polytechnic campus, featuring various activities to educate students as prospective university students who are preparing to enter higher education, understand the campus environment, experience campus life, and learn about the facilities and infrastructure provided by the campus to support the learning system.
This seminar and training were delivered by speakers with experience in their respective fields. One of them was an alumnus of CWE Polytechnic, Rama Kurniawan, Founder of Yasmine Farm, who presented material on “Practical Tips for Building a Business for Beginners”. The second speaker, who led a highly useful short course that supports today’s content creation landscape, was Syammas P. Syarbini, a Digital Creator & Canva Verified Expert, also known as Dr. Canva on social media, who presented the topic “Fun Ways to Design with Canva to Help MSMEs Level Up”. The speakers provided useful knowledge and insights to the audience.
This Goes to Campus event featured a more festive series of activities than the previous year, including a Seminar & Training Short Course delivered by expert speakers in their fields, a Study Program Exhibition showcasing products developed by each department and entrepreneurship initiatives, a Talent Show by students and student activity units, and a Campus Tour where students were invited to explore the campus and receive information about campus life.
The activity concluded with a closing session, group photo documentation, the presentation of plaques to speakers and sponsors, door prize distribution, and awards for participants with the best Goes to Campus event content.
